Cleanwich Marketplace Booking Terms
Key booking, payment and service conditions.
1. Marketplace role
Cleanwich operates the Marketplace that enables customers to find and request cleaning services from independent cleaning professionals and businesses. The selected seller, not Cleanwich, provides the cleaning service.
2. Booking requests
Sending a request does not by itself create a confirmed booking. The selected seller must accept the request within the confirmation period shown during checkout.
3. Card authorisation
When you send a booking request, Cleanwich may place a temporary authorisation on your card for the Marketplace fee shown at checkout. This is an authorisation rather than an immediate charge.
If the selected seller declines the request or does not accept it within the permitted confirmation period, the authorisation will be released.
4. Service payment
Your card may be retained securely through the payment provider for authorised payments connected with the accepted booking. Cleanwich and the seller may only use the payment method for amounts permitted by the booking and applicable cancellation terms.
5. Cancellations and changes
Customers should cancel or reschedule as early as possible. Cancellation or rescheduling within 48 hours of the scheduled service may result in charges where the applicable Marketplace cancellation policy allows them.
6. Seller responsibility
The selected seller is responsible for performing the cleaning service, its staff or contractors, service quality, conduct at the property and any loss or damage arising from the seller's performance of the service, subject to applicable law.
7. Accurate booking information
You must provide accurate property, access, contact and service information and keep a valid payment method available for the booking.
8. Off-platform circumvention
You must not ask a seller to cancel or misrepresent a Marketplace booking for the purpose of moving the same transaction outside Cleanwich and avoiding applicable Marketplace charges.
9. Payment disputes
If you believe a payment was incorrect, contact Cleanwich promptly so the transaction and booking records can be reviewed.
10. Statutory rights
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.
