A cleaner with strong real-world experience, but no brand and no stronger business structure around it
Gleamo started with Angela, a self-employed solo cleaner from Birmingham who already had around seven years of experience in cleaning. The experience was solid, the work ethic was there, and she knew the job properly, but the business itself had not yet been built into a stronger public-facing brand.
She came to Cleanwich without a developed brand, without a clearer identity, and without the stronger business layer that could help move things forward in a more structured way. Like many self-employed cleaners, she had the ability to do the work well, but not yet the setup around the work that could support bigger growth.
That is where the direction changed. Instead of staying as just another solo cleaner relying on the usual self-employed path, the business began to take shape as something clearer, more recognisable, and better positioned to grow.
